Two-product lineup: portable 'Anywhere' and mobile 'DPX Plus'
Rayence, a medical imaging solutions company, has launched a mobile X-ray package designed for use at emergency and disaster scenes.
The new lineup consists of two products: the portable X-ray package "Anywhere" and the mobile X-ray package "DPX Plus." The release responds to growing demand in areas with limited medical access for X-ray equipment that is easy to carry and set up, as well as rising demand within hospitals for mobile units that combine maneuverability, ease of use and image quality.
"Medical settings have recently seen not only increased bedside imaging needs but also a surge in home-care demand driven by an aging population," Rayence said. "Mobile X-ray diagnostics are needed across a wide range of environments — including home visits, emergency response, disaster scenes and sports emergencies."
The company added that the new launch marks an expansion beyond its existing business of supplying X-ray components (detectors) into an integrated platform project combining its own detectors and imaging solutions with a generator. Rayence plans to conduct marketing activities targeting Latin America, the Middle East and Europe.
The Anywhere series addresses out-of-hospital diagnostics and mobile medical demand through its portability and ease of setup. It is suited for environments requiring rapid imaging, such as emergency situations.
The DPX Plus is optimized for mobile imaging between bedsides and wards. A single system integrates battery operation, 100-micrometer high-resolution image capture, image acquisition software and noise-reduction processing. The company said the unit supports equipment movement, positioning, detector placement and image acquisition even in space-constrained or power-limited environments such as general wards, intensive care units and emergency rooms.
