Two middle school girls fell from a commercial building, leaving one dead and the other seriously injured.

According to Yonhap, the two girls fell from a commercial building in Buk-gu at around 8:46 p.m. Tuesday.

One of them was transported to a hospital in cardiac arrest and ultimately died. The other sustained serious injuries.

No suicide note was found at the scene. However, personal messages related to their circumstances were reportedly found on their mobile phones.

Police are analyzing the girls' phones and nearby CCTV footage, and questioning family members and others to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
