Actor Kim Dae-myung has urged fans to exercise caution after receiving reports that impersonation accounts using his identity have appeared on SNS.

Kim said Tuesday on his Instagram account that he had been receiving tips about accounts impersonating him on SNS.

"The only SNS account I currently operate is the one you are looking at right now — I do not run any other separate accounts," he said. "I do not send personal direct messages or ask for money or link access, so please take extra care to avoid falling victim to impersonation accounts."

He also asked followers to report and block any impersonation accounts they come across.

Kim has appeared in the films "The Beauty Inside," "Inside Men" and "International Investigation." His television credits include the tvN drama series "Misaeng: Incomplete Life," "Hospital Playlist" and the KBS 2TV sitcom "Maeum-ui Sori." He has earned wide public affection for his naturalistic performances and broad range.
