Multinational girl group UNIS and its agency F&F Entertainment are parting ways.

F&F Entertainment announced Tuesday on X, formerly Twitter, that its exclusive management contract with UNIS had ended.

"UNIS, which has been with us for the past two and a half years thanks to the love and support of fans, will conclude its exclusive management contract with our company on Sept. 26," the agency said.

And went on to say, "Our company and the members have continuously discussed the contract period and future direction, and after thorough consultation, we have made the final decision to wrap up UNIS's official activities as a full group in accordance with the scheduled contract period."

"We extend our deepest gratitude to the members, who poured their passion and sincerity into countless stages and precious moments under the name UNIS," the agency added. "Although the official activities together as UNIS are coming to a close, we will wholeheartedly support each member as they stand at a new starting point, continuing to pursue their dreams and grow in their own right."

F&F Entertainment also said, "Above all, it is thanks to EverAfter — who have always been by UNIS's side — that UNIS was able to exist," and again expressed deep gratitude to all fans "for creating an unforgettable, miraculous journey together with UNIS over this time."

UNIS is a multinational girl group that debuted in March 2024 after being selected through "Universe Ticket," a girl group survival talent show on SBS.

The group's name stands for "UNiverse Is Started" and also carries the meaning of writing a shared story that began in the "universe" together.

Formed from members who performed strongly on the survival program, the group drew wide praise for its vocal ability and stage performance.
