Titleist announced Wednesday the launch of a limited-edition putter, the Scotty Cameron Phantom OC Spec III, combining a low-torque design with Scotty Cameron's signature aesthetic.
The new putter features an Onset-Center design that aligns the shaft directly with the head's center of gravity, reducing head rotation during the stroke and keeping the face stable at impact. The head, shaft and grip are finished in an all-black colorway. A black PVD finish on the head minimizes light reflection, while three sharp sightlines aid alignment between the ball and the target.
The lineup comprises two models: the Phantom 5 OC Spec III, a compact wingback mallet, and the Phantom 11R OC Spec III, a larger modern mallet built for added stability. The Phantom 5 features a Studio Carbon Steel full-face insert, while the Phantom 11R uses a 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum face; both models adopt chain-link milling. The shaft is forward-pressed one degree toward the target, with a loft of 3.5 degrees and a lie angle of 70 degrees.
