BNK Busan Bank said Wednesday it will hold a "Jeong to You" event for foreign cruise tourists visiting Busan during the chuseok holiday. The event is designed to make currency exchange more convenient for cruise visitors while introducing them to Korea's traditional holiday culture.

The bank will deploy mobile branch vehicles at port terminals in line with cruise ship arrival schedules to provide currency exchange services to foreign tourists. The mobile branches will visit Yeongdo Cruise Terminal on Wednesday, Busan Port International Passenger Terminal on Thursday, and Busan Port International Passenger Terminal again on Saturday.

The first 200 foreign cruise tourists who exchange the equivalent of $100 or more during the event will receive their exchanged currency in a traditional Korean multicolored silk wallet. The event's name, "Jeong to You," reflects the spirit of chuseok — conveying the warmth of Korean "jeong," a concept of deep affection and connection, to foreign visitors in Busan.

Building on this event, the bank plans to follow up with a "Bok to You" campaign during the Lunar New Year holiday, featuring traditional Korean lucky pouches.
