Bupyeong-gu in Incheon has selected 12 recipients for its annual civic award.

The winners across 12 categories are: Yoon Seong-soon (86) for community harmony and service, Yoon Myeong-suk (64) for filial piety, Tak Hak-seop (55) for sharing, Kang Jong-won (59) for industrial promotion, Yoon Dong-jin (61) for local economic promotion, Kim Dong-wook (41) for public service, Kim Jin-soon (67) for culture and arts, Jeong Wol-mi (68) for education and research, Yoo Kyeong-a (61) for sports promotion, Lee Jeong-ho (61) for sustainable development, Jeon Chang-su (77) for national defense and veterans' affairs, and Ki Jung-hyeon (68) in the special category.

Bupyeong-gu will hold an awards ceremony during its Residents' Day commemorative event on Oct. 3, where plaques will be presented to the recipients.
