A man in his 30s was found dead in a stream in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province.

A caller reported to emergency services at around 9:21 a.m. Monday that "it looks like a person is floating" in Gulpocheon stream in Samjeong-dong, Ojeong-gu, Bucheon, according to Yonhap.

Police and fire department personnel who responded to the scene retrieved the man from the water, but he was already dead.

Police identified the body as a man in his 30s through fingerprint analysis and plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service.

Police said there were no apparent external injuries and no signs of criminal activity, adding that the cause of death will be determined through the autopsy.
