4.4 million shares offered at 4,700–5,700 won; book-building set for Nov. 2–6
Integrated manufacturing capabilities and partnerships to drive supply expansion
Hana Aerodynamics said Tuesday it has filed a securities registration statement with the Financial Services Commission, formally launching its public offering process ahead of a planned Kosdaq listing.
The company is offering 4.4 million shares at a price range of 4,700 to 5,700 won per share, putting the total offering size at 20.7 billion won ($15 million) to 25.8 billion won. Book-building with institutional investors is scheduled for Nov. 2–6, with the general public subscription period to follow Nov. 10–11. IBK Investment Securities is the lead underwriter.
Founded in 2007, Hana Aerodynamics is an aviation manufacturing specialist covering the full production chain — from jig and fixture design and fabrication to precision parts machining and airframe assembly. The company supplies jigs, components and assembled structures for commercial aircraft, military aircraft and helicopters operated by domestic and international customers, including Korea Aerospace Industries and Bell Helicopter.
Its core competitive strength lies in integrated manufacturing capabilities that link jig engineering directly to parts and assembly production. By designing and fabricating its own production jigs in-house, the company maintains cost competitiveness and high quality standards in aircraft component manufacturing and structural assembly.
Proceeds from the listing will go toward expanding production infrastructure, including large-scale sheet-metal forming equipment, heat treatment and post-processing facilities, and new factory construction. The company plans to bring outsourced processes in-house to sharpen cost, lead-time and quality competitiveness, and to increase the supply value per aircraft by converting more customer-supplied parts to self-manufactured components and broadening its product lineup.
Hana Aerodynamics is also pursuing customer and model diversification through jig exports to new overseas clients and helicopter parts orders. Over the medium to long term, the company plans to build on its experience making composite jigs for aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles and launch vehicles to expand into composite manufacturing, specialty materials processing and structural fabrication for the space and UAV sectors.
"We have built trust with domestic and international customers on the strength of our manufacturing capabilities spanning jigs, parts and structures," Chief Executive Son Chang-hwan said. "Through this listing, we will advance those capabilities and diversify our customer base and product portfolio to grow into a comprehensive global aerospace manufacturer."
Korea Exchange's Kosdaq Market Division had earlier approved the preliminary listing reviews for both Hana Aerodynamics and Davio. The decisions were finalized following deliberation and a vote by the Kosdaq Market Listing Committee.
Hana Aerodynamics, founded in 2007, manufactures aircraft and spacecraft components. The company posted sales of 33.29 billion won and operating profit of 4.99 billion won last year. Davio, a software development and distribution company established in 2012, recorded consolidated sales of 9.26 billion won and an operating loss of 4.45 billion won last year. Daishin Securities is managing Davio's listing.
