Multicampus said Tuesday it will buy back 172,786 of its own shares on the open market to stabilize its share price and enhance shareholder value.

The buyback is valued at 4 billion won ($2.89 million) and is scheduled to run from Wednesday through Dec. 22.

The company said it plans to cancel all shares acquired under the program.
