Students in the hair design department at Keimyung College in Daegu have continued the department's tradition of giving back, presenting a scholarship to support their juniors ahead of their own graduation.
According to the university, students from the class of 2025 in the hair design department — set to graduate in 2027 — held a scholarship presentation ceremony Wednesday at a practice room in the arts building, donating 15 million won ($10,800) to university development funds and presenting the contribution to President Park Seung-ho.
Park Na-eun, the class representative for the 2025 cohort, said it was especially meaningful to share their gratitude with younger students alongside their classmates before graduation. "I hope this scholarship will serve as a small source of strength as our juniors pursue their dreams," she said.
President Park said the university would continue to strengthen its educational environment and support so that students can grow into hair design professionals with outstanding expertise and strong character.
