Campaign targets employees and visitors to prevent improper gift-giving during the holiday season

The Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation announced Monday that it had conducted an integrity campaign called "Accept Only Goodwill" targeting its headquarters employees and visitors ahead of Chuseok.

The campaign aimed to prevent improper conduct — including the exchange of cash and gifts — that can arise during the holiday season, and to promote a culture of integrity.

"I hope this serves as an opportunity for our employees to reflect on the principles of integrity together and put them into practice in their daily lives," SH President Hwang Sang-ha said. "We will continue to distance ourselves from improper practices and work to spread a culture of integrity so that we can become an organization that citizens trust even more."

As the government has moved to expand public rental housing, SH's role as the agency driving that effort has grown increasingly important. SH supplies rental housing for a wide range of ages and income groups — including units for newlyweds and senior citizens — and is also taking part in efforts to foster a sound public enterprise culture.
