Lotte Rental announced Monday that its 2024 Sustainability Report, published in June last year, won the top prize at the 2025-2026 LACP Vision Awards for the second consecutive year. The awards are organized by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).
The LACP Vision Awards is a communications materials competition open to companies, government agencies and organizations worldwide. It evaluates and recognizes internal and external communications materials — including sustainability reports and promotional publications — on an annual basis.
Lotte Rental received perfect scores in seven of eight evaluation categories this year, earning the top rating in the digital and online report category for the second consecutive year. The company also took a gold award in the automotive and parts industry category, bringing its total to three awards across all categories.
The report also placed 65th worldwide and 38th in the Asia-Pacific region in the Top 100 Reports ranking, which identifies the best entries from around the globe. Both marks represent significant climbs from the previous year, when the company ranked 89th worldwide and 48th in Asia-Pacific — gains of 24 and 10 places, respectively. The report was additionally named to the Korea Top 20 Reports list and recognized as a top report for technology performance.
The award-winning 2024 Sustainability Report covers environmental achievements including the expansion of eco-friendly products and services, reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, and resource recycling. On the social front, it highlights efforts to foster a positive workplace culture, manage safety for customers and employees, and advance consumer-centered business practices. The governance section addresses shareholder management and shareholder-friendly policy, transparent information disclosure, and risk management systems.
"Winning the top prize for two consecutive years and climbing in the global rankings reflects recognition of both our ESG (environmental, social and governance) performance and the way we communicate it," a Lotte Rental official said. "We will continue to disclose our ESG management strategy and results transparently to stakeholders, and establish ourselves as a company trusted by customers and the market."
Lotte Rental has published a sustainability report every year for five consecutive years since releasing its first in 2022, using the reports to share its ESG management progress. The company released its 2025 Sustainability Report in June this year. The full report is available on the sustainability section of Lotte Rental's corporate website.
Meanwhile, Lotte Rental was recently named a "2026 Korea Top Job Creation Company" by the Ministry of Employment and Labor for the second consecutive year. The designation, awarded annually to 100 private-sector companies, recognizes businesses that lead in job creation, work-life balance and improvements to the employment environment.
