Singer DinDin has channeled the love he received through his YouTube work into a charitable donation, using his platform for positive impact.

On Friday, DinDin posted on his social media to thank his followers. "While doing YouTube, I received so much love from all of you, and there were so many happy experiences I was having for the first time," he wrote. "It's all thanks to you. Please continue to support me."

A photo posted alongside the message showed an official donation certificate. The donated amount was 10 million won ($7,240).

The donor name on the certificate was "DinDin-eun DinDin," the name of his YouTube channel, and the stated purpose of the donation was support for families in crisis.

DinDin has donated consistently over the years, surpassing a cumulative total of 50 million won and earning the Red Cross's highest honorary medal for distinguished members.

DinDin first rose to public prominence on "Show Me the Money 2" in 2013 and has since remained active across music releases, drama series, OTT platforms and variety shows.
