Broadcaster Kim Shin-young has silenced rumors that she was leaving the cast of "I Live Alone" by appearing on the show.
The Friday episode of MBC's entertainment program "I Live Alone" featured Jeon Hyun-moo, Kian84, Code Kunst (Kokun), Gu Seong-hwan, Kim Shin-young and SHINee's Minho.
During the episode, Jeon said he had heard that some viewers were inspired by watching fellow cast members' daily lives. Kim added that she had developed an interest in language learning after watching Ryu Hye-young's segment.
Gu said he had been consistently studying English and introduced himself as "My name is Marcus." Kim responded, "Oppa, it seems like you've really grown," drawing laughter.
Rumors of Kim's departure had surfaced after she was absent from a group photo posted on the show's official social media account. She had also announced last month that she would be stepping away from her DJ duties on MBC FM4U's "Noon Hope Song Kim Shin-young" for three months to focus on her IP content company and other work.
Kim addressed the rumors on her own social media, writing, "See you next week without fail."
