Semifinals and finals for both team events set for Sunday

South Korea's soft tennis national teams secured at least two bronze medals at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games after both the men's and women's squads advanced to the semifinals of their respective team events.

The men's team reached the last four on Friday, defeating the Philippines 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the men's team event at Higashiyama Park Tennis Center in Nagoya.

The men's squad had topped their preliminary group to advance to the quarterfinal round, while the women's team qualified for the semifinals as runners-up in their group stage.

In soft tennis, both losing semifinalists receive bronze medals, as there is no third-place playoff.

The semifinals and finals for both team events are scheduled for Sunday, with both the men's and women's national teams set to face Taiwan in the semifinals.
