Samwon Gallery in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, is presenting "Forms of Connection," a two-person exhibition by Yoo Jeong-min and Jeong Hae-yun, through Oct. 24. The show draws on paper's qualities of connection and construction, using paintings and sculptures to visualize the visible and invisible networks that sustain our lives.
Jeong expresses human relationships and social bonds through imagery of birds, thread and drawers, while Yoo renders the structures and forces that hold space together through the repeated transformation of curves and arches. The two artists' works intersect to illuminate the meaning of unseen connections.
