Kwon Seong-hun, 23, claimed his second victory of the season by winning the 19th event of the 2026 KPGA David Golf Tour.
Kwon finished at 14 under par, 130 strokes, at Gunsan Country Club's Buan-Namwon course (par 72) in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province on Thursday, beating runner-up Seong Jun-min, 24, by two strokes. Seong finished at 12 under par. The winner's prize was 20 million won ($14,600).
Kwon had surged to the outright lead on Wednesday with a round of 11 under par, 61 strokes, featuring one eagle and nine birdies. He held on in the final round, carding four birdies and one bogey for a 3-under finish. The victory came roughly five months after he claimed his first professional win at the tour's third event in April.
"I'm happy to confirm that my first win was the result of skill, not luck," Kwon said.
Kwon took up golf at age 12 and joined the KPGA as a professional and tour professional in 2024, since when he has competed primarily on the second-tier David Golf Tour.
Seong Jun-min finished second at 12 under par, 132 strokes, while Hyeon Seung-jin, 27, Oh Jin-muk, 29, and Lee Heon-yong, 21, shared third place at 11 under par, 133 strokes.
