Gijang-gun will hold its inaugural "Gijang-gun Youth Day" event at the Gijang Youth Center's Cheong:ryu Hall on Saturday, the district announced. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature a range of hands-on programs reflecting the interests and needs of local youth.

The main programs include profile photo shoots for job applications and self-development, personal color consultations, tarot card counseling, ceramic painting, leather crafts, aromatherapy perfume making, cocktail making and badge making. A youth acoustic performance will also take place, offering young attendees and local residents a chance to enjoy the event together.

Also that day, a youth startup market called "Dasimi Market" will be held on the first floor of Jeongwan Edupark from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tied to the Youth Day event, it is designed as an open event welcoming not only young people but also local residents.

"I hope this first-ever Gijang-gun Youth Day gives young people a chance to step away from their daily routines, try new things and connect with one another naturally," Gijang-gun District Mayor Woo Seong-bin said.
