Yang Yo-seob of the group Highlight has made an urgent appeal to fans to stop invading his privacy.
Yang posted a story on his Instagram account Wednesday, writing, "Please do not come to where I live. I'm begging you."
He added, "My home is featured on 'Yozeumgeotdeul.' Please watch that instead."
"Yozeumgeotdeul" refers to a web entertainment series on the YouTube channel Gogossing, titled "Yoseobi's Yozeumgeotdeul."
In November 2024, Highlight's agency Around Us warned of legal action against so-called "sasaeng" fans — obsessive followers known for stalking celebrities.
At the time, Around Us said that "as acts seriously invading the privacy of Highlight members have been increasing," it felt compelled to address the situation. The agency cited fans making unauthorized visits to locations connected to the members' daily lives, waiting along their running routes to take unauthorized photos, and repeatedly lingering near their residences in attempts to force contact with the artists.
The agency went on to say that it urged fans to "refrain from acts that, in a moment of impulse, damage your own reputation and that of the artists, and cause harm to others," adding that "if such behavior continues, the company will take clear legal action regarding the invasion of privacy."
