Lake Summit Welga in Jinju's Panmun district will open its model home Friday, kicking off the formal pre-sale process.
According to Heunghan Housing General Construction, the complex will rise in Panmun-dong, Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, with three below-ground floors and up to 27 above-ground floors across six buildings. It will offer 690 units with exclusive use areas ranging from 78 to 182 square meters.
The unit breakdown by exclusive use area is 130 units at 78 square meters, 480 units at 84 square meters, 76 units at 119 square meters, and four units at 182 square meters.
About 88.4 percent of all units are the 78- and 84-square-meter types favored by end-user buyers, while larger 119-square-meter units and 182-square-meter penthouses are also available to suit different lifestyles.
The complex benefits from strong transport links. The Seo-Jinju interchange on the Daejeon-Tongyeong Expressway — the western gateway to Jinju — is nearby, providing easy access to downtown Jinju as well as neighboring areas including Sacheon, Sancheong and Hamyang. Major road networks including National Route 3, Namgang-ro and the Jinju Ring Road are also readily accessible.
The development sits within what developers describe as a dual living zone, combining the education and lifestyle amenities of the adjacent Pyeonggeodong area with the natural surroundings of Panmun-dong.
Pyeonggeocheo Elementary School is within walking distance, and Gyeonghae Girls' Middle and High School, Seonmyeong Girls' High School and the Pyeonggeodong hagwon district are all close by.
Residents will also have convenient access to shopping and daily amenities in Pyeonggeodong and central Jinju, including Top Mart, Pyeonggeodong Market, E-mart and Galleria department store. Gyeongsang National University Hospital, Jinju City West Library, the National Jinju Museum and the Gyeongnam Arts Center are also in the area.
The complex also touts its natural surroundings. Jinyangho Park, the Panmuncheon waterfront park, the Namgang River walking trail, Panmunsan and Seokgapsan are all nearby, offering ample opportunities for daily walks and outdoor leisure.
The complex is designed primarily with a south-facing orientation and a four-bay layout — with some exceptions — to maximize natural light, ventilation and a sense of openness. Units will feature pantry storage and wide walk-in closets among various storage options.
Distinctive community and landscaping facilities are planned within the complex. A sky lounge on the top 27th floor will offer views of Jinyangho and the surrounding natural scenery, enhancing the complex's landmark appeal and scenic value.
"We will do our best to present Lake Summit Welga in Jinju's Panmun district as a new residential complex representing western Jinju, where residents can enjoy both the natural environment of Panmun district and the education and lifestyle infrastructure of Pyeonggeodong," a company official said.
The subscription schedule begins with special supply on Sept. 28, followed by first-priority applications on Sept. 29 and second-priority on Sept. 30. Successful applicants will be announced Oct. 8, with contract signings running from Oct. 19 to Oct. 21.
The model home for Lake Summit Welga in Jinju's Panmun district is located in Pyeonggeodong, Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province.
