Suseong University signed a governance agreement Wednesday with Suseong-gu and a local AI company to build a regional talent development framework focused on lifelong vocational education.

The signing ceremony, held in a conference room on the second floor of the university's main building, was attended by Kim Nam-jo, director of the lifelong vocational education office; Kwon Kyung-hee, director of academic support; and Hong Woo-jin, a professor in the webtoon and web novel program. Seong Sang-jeong, a team leader from Suseong-gu's future education division, also attended, along with Park Jun-hyeok, chief executive of Bigvision, and Jeong Yong-jun, a director at the firm.

The participating organizations agreed to establish a cooperative model linking local government, academia and industry, and to strengthen a lifelong vocational education ecosystem tailored to regional needs.

"Building on this government-industry-academia agreement, we will develop specialized glocal marketer leaders suited to the character of this region and create a successful model for local job creation," Kim said.
