Prize draw of 20 million won in gifts planned for 200 lucky visitors
Boim Group, a Yeosu industrial complex company marking its 20th anniversary, will hold a free-admission event called "Boim Day" at the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo.
The company will host the event Saturday, opening the gates at no charge to Yeosu residents and workers in the area. Among attendees, 200 visitors will be selected by draw to receive prizes worth a combined 20 million won ($14,900).
Boim Group recently donated 100 million won to the organizing committee of the Yeosu Island Expo. It then separately arranged Boim Day, committing an additional 100 million won to cover free admission costs — bringing its total pledge to 200 million won.
"We organized this free-admission and prize event to mark our 20th anniversary by sharing the occasion with the community rather than holding an internal company celebration," Boim Group Chairman Han Moon-sun said. "As the event falls just ahead of the chuseok holiday, we hope it will be a day of generous sharing and joy for local residents and all those visiting Yeosu."
