Heat pump boiler, ventilation solutions, modular home on display

LG Electronics is showcasing AI-powered high-efficiency residential solutions at the 2026 Climate Industry International Expo, held Wednesday through Friday at Bexco in Busan.

The expo, co-hosted by the Ministry of Climate, Environment and Energy, the International Energy Agency and the World Bank, serves as a forum for discussing advanced technologies and policy solutions to address the climate crisis and achieve carbon neutrality.

In the heating, ventilation and air conditioning zone, LG Electronics is displaying products designed to reduce home energy consumption, including the recently launched high-efficiency all-in-one LG Therma V heat pump boiler, the LG Whisen AI Objet Collection Tower I air conditioner, the LG MULTI V i, the LG Whisen AI system air conditioner and the LG Premium Ventilation Plus — the last four of which received the Energy Winner Grand Prize and the Ministry of Climate, Environment and Energy minister's award this year.

The home appliance zone features the LG Trom AI Objet Collection WashCombo, which uses dual inverter heat pump technology to cut energy use during washing and drying, along with the LG Styler Objet Collection, the LG PuriCare Objet Collection water purifier, the LG DIOS induction cooktop and the LG DIOS Objet Collection dishwasher.

The media and display zone highlights the LG ePaper Display, which cuts power consumption by more than 99 percent compared with conventional digital signage, and the LG StanbyME 2 Max, which reduces standby power to 0.5 watts or less.

LG Electronics will also introduce its resource-circulation and carbon-reduction efforts, including an OLED TV that uses about 40 percent less plastic than LCD TVs and its "Battery Turn" initiative, which recovers rare metals from used vacuum cleaner batteries for reuse. The company will also present the LG Smart Cottage, a modular home that integrates AI home appliances and HVAC technology.
