Offering hands-on aviation industry experience to young job seekers

168 participants expected this year across three rounds

Program features pre-placement job training and on-site mentoring

Trinity Airways announced Wednesday that it will participate for the fourth consecutive year in the 2026 Mirae Naeil Work Experience program, which provides young job seekers with hands-on experience in the aviation industry.

Administered by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the program helps young job seekers explore career paths and build employment skills by placing them directly in workplace settings. Trinity was the first domestic carrier to join the program, doing so in 2023, and has since offered participants on-site experience at airports and in aviation operations.

This year's program runs from April through November in three rounds, with 168 participants expected. They will be assigned to airport branches at Incheon, Gimpo, Jeju, Cheongju and Gimhae to gain hands-on experience.

Gimhae Airport is a new addition this year, expanding access for young people outside the Greater Seoul area. The program is open to all applicants regardless of academic major, allowing anyone with an interest in aviation to explore various roles and chart their career direction.

The program begins with roughly one week of pre-placement job training, followed by on-site practice and mentoring sessions with current employees on job roles and career development. In-house subject-matter instructors as well as active flight crew and cabin crew members take part in the training.

Participants then gain practical experience at their assigned airport branches, where they identify areas for improvement and develop and present field-based ideas through a "mission project."

A completion ceremony recognizes top-performing teams to boost motivation. The ideas generated through the projects are shared with airport staff, giving the company fresh perspectives on improvement while participants gain real-world experience and professional growth.

"Over four consecutive years in the program, we have continued to refine it so that young people can experience real aviation work firsthand and explore their career paths in concrete terms," a Trinity Airways official said. "We will keep working to provide young people with ever more meaningful work experience opportunities."

Meanwhile, Trinity launched its first flights under the Trinity Airways brand on Thursday, opening domestic service with the 6:10 a.m. Daegu–Jeju flight TW801 and international service with the 6:55 a.m. Incheon–Narita flight TW237.
