British rock band Oasis, whose reunion after 16 years sent fans around the world into a frenzy, will embark on another world tour next year. The band has confirmed 38 dates, though Asia was left out of the announcement.

Oasis shared the schedule on social media Monday (local time), declaring that "after a period of reflection, the most toxic force in British popular culture has been normalized" and that the band was returning "to boost morale once again."

Formed in 1991 around brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, Oasis sold more than 90 million records and produced hits including "Don't Look Back in Anger" and "Live Forever" before breaking up in 2009 following a falling-out between the siblings.

The band's surprise reunion announcement last year stunned fans. In Britain, ticket queues stretched for hours and prices soared, prompting the Competition and Markets Authority to investigate Ticketmaster and push for changes to the booking process.

To avoid a repeat of last year's chaos, Oasis said it would use a pre-registration system for the upcoming tour, requiring fans to secure ticket-buying rights before they can make a purchase.

The newly announced schedule includes no Asian dates. Performances will take place in cities across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the Netherlands, as well as in Boston and Las Vegas in the United States.
