Furniture board and interior film share identical patterns, extending to walls and doors

Three lineups: Signature, Special and Entry

Hansol HomeDeco announced Tuesday it has relaunched "Hansol Storyboard X Film Vol.10," a collection that pairs furniture board materials and interior film in matching patterns.

Hansol Storyboard is a furniture surface material made by bonding finishing layers — including PET (polyethylene terephthalate), PP (polypropylene) and LPM (low-pressure melamine) — onto E0-rated MDF (medium-density fiberboard) produced in-house. It is used in the fabrication of custom furniture such as kitchen cabinets and built-in wardrobes.

Hansol Storyfilm, launched alongside the board line, is an interior film developed in the same patterns as Storyboard, allowing the same design to be applied not only to furniture but also to surrounding walls and doors. Hansol HomeDeco, which also handles flooring, wall panels and ceramic materials, is pursuing a strategy of broadening design coordination across its product categories. The full range is on display at its official showroom, The Hansol HomeDeco, in Guro-gu, Seoul.

Vol.10 is organized into three lineups: Signature, Special and Entry. The Signature line emphasizes the texture of natural materials such as wood and stone, while the Special line features antibacterial and fingerprint-resistant surface coatings with a triple-layer structure. The Entry lineup offers enhanced resistance to discoloration.

The Signature line in particular subdivides its oak patterns into variants including Natural, Deep Brown and Deep Gray. The company said the expanded selection reflects growing demand among custom-furniture buyers for mixing and matching colors and materials.

Three new patterns developed in collaboration with professional interior design firms have also been added. The "Ever Oak" pattern, previously featured in the "Hansol Storyfilm Plus Edition," has now been extended to the Storyboard product line. The company's website currently highlights Vol.10 products and Ever Oak among its featured offerings.

"This renewal focused on realizing the colors and textures of diverse materials while strengthening design continuity between Storyboard and Storyfilm," a Hansol HomeDeco official said. "We will continue to expand our product lineup to meet the needs of the custom furniture market."
