Product curation and personalized recommendations enhanced
Purchase flow and user interface also improved
CJ CheilJedang announced Tuesday that it has relaunched the mobile app for its direct-sales platform CJ The Market, with a focus on strengthening AI-powered curation and personalized recommendations while optimizing the shopping flow.
The main home screen has been redesigned as a space for themed curation tied to seasons and occasions. Drawing on customer behavior data, purchase tendencies and order history, the app offers first-time visitors exclusive welcome deals, while returning customers receive suggestions for their go-to products alongside personalized recommendations.
AI has also been integrated into the app's content features. In Lime, the health and wellness specialty section within CJ The Market, AI automatically reviews and categorizes customer-submitted review photos to surface them as content. During major promotional events, the app now links directly to the relevant page upon launch. Frequently used menus have been made more accessible, and redundant information has been consolidated.
The user interface and user experience have also been refined. The previous logo, rendered primarily in Latin script, has been replaced with a hangul logo reading "CJ The Market." A design motif inspired by a top-down view of a round plate has been applied to key buttons, tabs and product preview images.
"Through continued service enhancements, we aim to develop CJ The Market into a lifestyle platform — one that customers visit more often and stay with longer, going beyond shopping," a CJ CheilJedang official said.
