Genesis said Friday it will hold a special exhibition of its flagship electric SUV GV90 at Genesis Suji through Sept. 27.

The GV90, unveiled globally for the first time in San Francisco in August, has drawn attention for its differentiated design and innovative technology, including a restrained yet elegant aesthetic inspired by Korea's moon jar, the world's first independently opening hidden B-pillar coach doors called the "Neolun Arch Gate," and the world's first roof airbag.

Citing strong customer interest in the GV90, Genesis said it organized the exhibition ahead of the vehicle's official launch. It lets visitors experience the vehicle's design and materials, advanced technology, a differentiated sound experience and a VIP-oriented spatial experience.

The exhibition spans all floors of Genesis Suji and features one GV90 Neolun First Edition, three GV90 Neolun units and three GV90 units, along with a range of interactive content.

On the first floor, the GV90 Neolun First Edition — a top-tier limited-edition model offering differentiated features for VIP customers — is on display. The exhibited vehicle stands out with a two-tone exterior combining Vik Black and Sonoran Navy, paired with 24-inch diamond-cut, dish-type forged wheels that incorporate the exterior color as an accent.

The interior colors, Majestic Purple and Regal Navy, add a sense of luxury, while the crystal sphere integrated controller, seat headrests and door steps carry a logo exclusive to the First Edition.

The second floor is dedicated to the GV90's design, colors, materials and advanced technology. The "GV90 Design Zone" introduces the design philosophy and development process behind the GV90, inspired by Korea's moon jar.

Visitors can examine the key elements that define the vehicle's design, including the wing-face MLA headlamps — which reinterpret Genesis' signature two-line design in a new way — and jewel-like interior details. They can also see the GV90's unique interior color combinations and various real material garnishes, experiencing the luxury aesthetic Genesis pursues.

The advanced technology zone introduces the driving feel and safety technology built on the eMP platform, Genesis' dedicated flagship platform.

Visitors can also directly experience key innovative technologies applied to the GV90, including the world's first roof airbag, a pop-up center OLED cinematic display and the next-generation infotainment platform Fleos Connect.

The exhibition also offers sound content that lets visitors experience the GV90's refined quality. Inside the vehicle's exceptionally quiet cabin, visitors can feel a differentiated listening experience that fills the space through the Bang & Olufsen Premier 3D sound system and Dolby Atmos.

On the third floor, the GV90 Neolun is displayed alongside the Neolun Arch Gate, the world's first independently opening hidden B-pillar coach door. The Neolun Arch Gate allows the front and rear doors to open toward each other without a B-pillar, providing an open, expansive feel and ample space for getting in and out of the vehicle.

The exhibition hall screens a documentary film detailing the development process behind the Neolun Arch Gate. The exhibition also sets up a space that lets visitors directly examine the innovative body structure without a B-pillar, conveying Genesis' pioneering spirit and development philosophy in pushing past existing limitations.

In addition, visitors can get an up-close look at the GV90 Neolun's exterior and interior materials through a CMF (color, material, finish) experience. They can also explore a VIP-customer-only specification zone that lets them directly experience the GV90 Neolun's spacious cabin and attentive hospitality.

The fourth floor operates as the "GV90 Lounge," a rest area for visitors, where they can also browse Genesis Collection products that embody the brand's philosophy.

"We arranged an opportunity to introduce the GV90 to domestic customers first, ahead of its official sales launch," a Genesis official said. "We hope that through this special exhibition, domestic customers can more deeply experience not only the GV90's design and innovative technology but also Genesis' hospitality philosophy and differentiated spatial experience."

Meanwhile, Genesis is also making a mark in motorsports. Its team, Genesis Magma Racing, finished seventh — its best result since its debut in the competition — at Round 5 of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the "Lone Star Le Mans," held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on Sunday (local time).
