Jang Hyang-rye (93) passed away. She is survived by her husband, Cho Byung-tae; her sons Cho Chan-hyung, Cho In-cheol (National Assembly member, Democratic Party of Korea), Cho Jin-hwan and Cho Seong-hwan; her daughters Cho Ok-ja, Cho Ok-hee and Cho Ok-ran; her daughters-in-law Gu Bok-sil, Park Hyang-sun and Kim Nan-young; and her son-in-law Lee Young-haeng. The funeral is being held at VIP Room 201, second floor, Yeongrim Hall, Best Funeral Culture Center, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju. The burial will take place Friday at 7 a.m., followed by interment at Yeongmo Cemetery. 062-454-1000.
