Signing ceremony held Tuesday at Busan plant
"Company will focus all its capabilities on new projects' success"
Renault Korea said Tuesday that labor and management representatives held a signing ceremony for the 2026 wage and collective bargaining agreement at the company's Busan plant.
Renault Korea's labor and management sides reached a tentative agreement after 15 rounds of negotiations since their first meeting in April, and finalized the 2026 deal after it won approval from more than half of employees at a general meeting held Aug. 26.
Following the settlement, Renault Korea is concentrating its company-wide capabilities not only on improving earnings but also on the successful rollout of new projects.
Particularly to boost customer satisfaction with its vehicles in the domestic market, the company began offering buyers of the Filante and the 2027 Grand Koleos an industry-leading extended warranty of up to seven years or 140,000 kilometers, free of charge, starting this month. It also unveiled new limited-edition models, including the Grand Koleos Étoile.
Meanwhile, Renault Korea earlier in June set up a large corporate booth at NEXTRISE 2026, Asia's largest technology and startup event, held at COEX in Seoul, where it unveiled its future mobility innovation strategy. The company has continued various marketing activities to broaden its customer engagement.
