Lyricist Kim Ina has alerted fans that an impersonation account has been created in her name.
Kim posted on her Instagram account Monday that she does not use X, formerly Twitter, but that an account impersonating her had apparently appeared on the platform.
"Right now it doesn't have many followers, and it seems AI is scraping random posts from my Instagram and uploading them," she wrote, adding that she wanted to warn people in case the account caused harm later.
She urged followers who use X to report the account. "I'm told mass reporting is the most effective approach," she said. "It would be a hassle, but I'd be grateful if those of you who saw this post and use X could report the impersonation account together."
Kim also shared a screenshot of the impersonating X account alongside her post.
In the comments, she later thanked everyone who helped report the account.
Kim works as both a lyricist and broadcaster. She has built a strong presence in the music industry by contributing to songs by artists from major agencies as well as top-tier singers.
