Dong-A Pharmaceutical has launched Hwaitamin, a quasi-drug designed to help reduce dark spots and freckles, under its inner beauty brand Ailo (ILO).
Ailo Hwaitamin is a low-dose vitamin and mineral quasi-drug approved for its efficacy in reducing dark spots and freckles. Each tablet (1,300 mg) contains 500 mg of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and 120 mg of L-cysteine, along with B vitamins, vitamin E, zinc and other ingredients — 12 active components in total.
The product can also help replenish vitamins B1, B2, B6, C and E as well as zinc during physical fatigue, pregnancy, breastfeeding or recovery from illness. The recommended dosage is one tablet per day.
Dong-A Pharmaceutical's Ailo brand recently expanded its inner beauty lineup with three new "Skin Solution" products featuring next-generation beauty ingredients such as PDRN and NMN. With Hwaitamin, the company is introducing its first quasi-drug under the brand, drawing on its research and development capabilities to meet growing consumer demand for products with proven efficacy and strong credibility.
