Actor Lee Yu-bi, 35, the daughter of actor Gyeon Mi-ri, has shared a glimpse of her lavish new apartment, calling it the first time she has ever lived on her own.
Lee appeared Thursday on the SBS variety show "My AI Partner — Gian Romance," a program in which people go on dates with AI companions.
Lee, who said she has been in a relationship for two to three years, selected an AI character named "Lee Hun" as her date on a tablet. "I like calm personalities, and I felt we clicked well in conversation," she said, adding that looks also played a role in her choice.
Lee then took her AI date on a virtual tour of her apartment. The spacious unit drew attention for its lush green garden visible through the living room windows. Inside, the home featured stylish interiors anchored in white with carefully placed accents, and a walk-in closet filled with luxury goods — offering a peek at her polished yet glamorous lifestyle.
"This is the first time I've lived on my own, so I had this dream of going on a date at home," Lee said.
Her remark suggests she lived with her parents until recently. Her mother, Gyeon Mi-ri, and her husband are known to reside in a top-tier detached house in Hannam-dong, one of Seoul's most affluent neighborhoods, with two below-ground floors and four above-ground floors. A 2016 broadcast valued the property at around 9 billion won ($6.62 million).
All three of Gyeon's children are active in the entertainment industry. Her eldest, Lee Yu-bi, is an actor. Her second daughter, Lee Da-in, is married to singer-actor Lee Seung-gi. Her youngest, son Lee Gi-baek, works as a singer.
