Units range from 59 to 114 square meters in exclusive use area
Apartment subscriptions to open Sept. 14 with special supply round
Daewoo Engineering & Construction announced Friday it will launch pre-sales for Dujeong Station Prugio Grand Peak, a 1,438-unit apartment complex in Seongjong-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province.
The complex will rise across 10 buildings, with three below-ground floors and up to 35 above-ground floors. Units span a range of sizes — 59, 74, 84, 101 and 114 square meters in exclusive use area — covering everything from compact to large floor plans. The average pre-sale price is set at 14.85 million won ($10,800) per 3.3 square meters.
Apartment subscriptions open with a special supply round on Sept. 14, followed by first-priority applications on Sept. 15 and second-priority on Sept. 16. Winners will be announced Sept. 22, and formal contracts will be signed Oct. 5–8. First-priority eligibility extends to residents of Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, Daejeon and Sejong who are 19 or older, regardless of whether they are the head of a household or a household member. Applicants must hold a housing subscription account for at least six months and meet the required deposit threshold. The complex is not subject to re-subscription restrictions, resale restrictions or owner-occupancy requirements.
The complex sits at a prime location that draws on both the established infrastructure of Cheonan's original city center and the Dujeong and Buldang residential zones. E-mart, Lotte Mart, Shinsegae department store and Dankook University Hospital are all nearby, along with financial institutions and government offices. Road access is convenient via Beonyeong-ro, Dongseo-daero and the Cheonan interchange of the Gyeongbu Expressway, while subway Line 1's Dujeong Station and Cheonan Station — served by both Line 1 and the Gyeongbu Line — are also within easy reach. The Samsung Display Cheonan campus and several nearby industrial complexes, including Cheonan's second, third and fourth general industrial zones and the Baekseok agricultural industrial complex, provide a strong base of demand from workers seeking homes close to their workplaces.
The development also highlights product features befitting the Prugio brand. The exterior features a curtain-wall-look facade and premium entrance gates designed to establish the complex as a local landmark. Buildings are spaced widely apart to maximize natural light and ventilation through clear sightlines, and the landscaping follows a "Layered Park" concept that incorporates a central lawn plaza, water features, residents' fitness areas and forest walking paths.
Community amenities are planned on a large scale. A sports facility called "Greenery Sports" will offer a fitness center, group exercise studio, golf practice range and sauna. Alongside it, residents will have access to a book cafe, study rooms, a shared office, a cultural center, a shared kitchen and party room, a guesthouse, a cooperative childcare center and a daycare facility — a one-stop lineup of cultural and care services.
Floor plans have been designed with a strong focus on livability. The 59-square-meter Type A adopts a four-bay cross-ventilation layout, while Type B features an open two-sided view. The 74- and 84-square-meter units include entryway and kitchen pantries along with dressing rooms for added storage, and the largest unit — at 114 square meters — maximizes openness with a five-bay cross-ventilation structure and dressing rooms with windows on two sides.
The complex will also be equipped with a range of smart home systems throughout, including vehicle recognition and license-plate identification, emergency call stations in the underground parking garage, 10-inch touchscreen wall pads, real-time energy monitoring and smart light switches.
Meanwhile, Daewoo Engineering & Construction reported preliminary consolidated earnings for the first half of this year, posting sales of 3.99 trillion won, operating profit of 487.9 billion won and net profit for the period of 363 billion won.
