The Democratic Party of Korea said Friday it will rename and expand its official YouTube channel from "Deli Minju" to "Democratic Party TV."

The channel's first broadcast is set for Tuesday, with programming beginning at 7 a.m. across two segments covering major issues and the party's policy agenda.

Democratic Party leader Kim Min-seok will appear as a regular in the first segment until the channel is firmly established. The party plans to air pilot episodes on Tuesdays and Thursdays for two weeks, gather viewer feedback, and then move to a five-day-a-week regular schedule.

Rep. Kim Nam-jun, the party's publicity committee chair, said the channel aims to be an "open TV" — a content platform spanning progressive and centrist audiences. "Rather than competing with existing progressive channels, we want to build a healthy and dignified public-discourse ecosystem where diverse perspectives come together through solidarity and cooperation," he said.
