Singer Min Kyung-hoon is departing JTBC's variety show "Knowing Bros" after 11 years.

Min recently decided to leave the show following discussions with the production team, according to Star News on Friday.

He told producers he wanted time to recharge after years of nonstop activity.

The production team respected his wishes, given that he had been with the program as a founding member for nearly 11 years. Min has already completed his final recording.

Throughout his run on the show, he won fans over with his quirky on-screen persona and unpredictable wit, building strong chemistry with his fellow cast members.

His connection to "Knowing Bros" extended beyond the show itself. Min married JTBC producer Shin Ki-eun, four years his senior, in November 2024 — a woman he had met through the program. He also chose the show as the platform to first announce his wedding news.

"Knowing Bros" has seen a series of cast changes recently. With Kim Hee-chul having stepped away temporarily for health reasons and now Min departing as well, the long-standing lineup that defined the show is expected to undergo significant changes.

Among the founding members, Kang Ho-dong, Lee Su-geun, Seo Jang-hoon and Kim Young-chul remain on the show. Lee Sang-min joined in March 2016, and Kim Shin-young was added as a new member in May.

Special guest members are expected to fill Min's spot for now.
