Special menu items available through Sept. 13, including limited-run Kkakkalkon Special Nachos

Lotte Wellfood said it is running a "Kkakkalkon x Manseon Hopeu" brand collaboration at Manseon Hopeu in Euljiro, Seoul, through Sept. 13.

During the collaboration period, Manseon Hopeu will offer Kkakkalkon-themed menu items and promotions. The venue will sell "Kkakkalkon Special Nachos" in a limited run of 20 per day, and the first 50 draft beer customers each day will receive a free bag of Kkakkalkon Sweet & Spicy flavor.

Four set menus are also available: beef samgyeopsal yakisoba paired with Kkakkalkon Ssamjang Samgyeopsal flavor; garlic chicken with Kkakkalkon Original flavor; Euljiro-style whelk with Kkakkalkon Sweet & Spicy flavor; and dried pollack with Kkakkalkon Grilled Corn flavor. Each set is limited to 25 per day.

An outdoor advertisement featuring actor Oh Jeong-se, the brand model for Kkakkalkon, has been installed on the exterior wall of Manseon Hopeu, with promotional video content playing on the rooftop. Posters, standing banners and table paper have been placed inside the venue as well. Lotte Wellfood has been running an advertising campaign under the slogan "Kkakkalkon, the romantic snack of our era."

The Kkakkalkon Ssamjang Samgyeopsal flavor has been gaining strong word of mouth on social media, driving high sales turnover. Some hypermarkets have begun displaying it alongside pork belly and other meat products in their butcher sections. The flavor is selling more than three times as well as the original Kkakkalkon line, and some stores have seen stock sell out over the weekend after delivery.

"Manseon Hopeu in Euljiro is a place where diverse people gather to enjoy great food and atmosphere, which aligns well with the brand image Kkakkalkon pursues," a Lotte Wellfood official said. "We hope this collaboration gives consumers a chance to experience a different kind of everyday romance with Kkakkalkon at an outdoor bar in the heart of the city."
