Actor Kim Eui-sung surprised fans by revealing that he has been living with his girlfriend for more than 15 years, despite having gone through two divorces.

A video posted Wednesday to the YouTube channel Vivo TV showed comedians Song Eun-i and Kim Sook connecting with Kim by phone.

Kim had recently become a talking point after Song named him as her ideal type and a potential virtual husband. When asked how he felt about the articles, he said, "My heart fluttered a little."

Song joked, "Isn't that arrhythmia?" Kim shot back, "At this age, if your heart flutters, it probably is arrhythmia."

Kim Sook praised him, saying, "I've known Song Eun-i for 30 years, and her ideal type is spot-on — an intellectual man. I wonder if there's a more intellectual actor in all of South Korea." Kim is a graduate of Seoul National University.

When Kim Sook suggested they meet, Kim responded positively, saying, "I'll have to make time. It's Song Eun-i, after all — not just anyone."

The twist came with the final question. When Kim Sook asked whether he was currently seeing anyone, Kim said he was, then added, "Didn't you know? I've been living with my girlfriend for over 15 years." Kim Sook immediately wrapped up the conversation with a cheerful "It was a pleasure," drawing laughter.

As for why his heart had "fluttered a little" earlier, he explained, "Setting aside any romantic feelings, I genuinely like Song Eun-i as a person."

Meanwhile, Kim had previously appeared on SBS's My Little Old Boy in March, where he spoke openly about his two divorces and his current relationship. At the time, he said he had been dating his girlfriend — who is two years his junior — for about 15 years.
