High-protein, high-calcium, sugar-free and lactose-free design
400g large-format product contains 40 billion CFU of lactic acid bacteria
Lotte Wellfood's Pasteur brand announced Friday the launch of a Greek yogurt product called Pasteur Greek.
Pasteur Greek is high in protein and calcium, with no added sugar and a lactose-free formula. Each 100-gram serving contains 6 grams of protein and 200 milligrams of calcium. It is a plain-style yogurt with no added sugar and broken-down lactose.
The product uses 86 percent raw milk sourced from Pasteur's dedicated farm and contains 40 billion CFU of lactic acid bacteria. Its texture strikes a balance between thick and thin, making it suitable as a meal replacement or as a base for toppings such as fruit and nuts. The 400-gram size works for both meals and snacks.
"As more consumers turn to Greek yogurt as a meal replacement, we wanted to offer a product that satisfies both taste and nutrition," a Lotte Wellfood official said. "We will continue to bring out products that preserve the rich, fresh flavor of Pasteur milk while keeping them good for your health."
