Samsung Electronics said Tuesday it has fully renovated its Samsung Store in Cheongdam, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, relaunching it as a dedicated hub for wedding and new-home appliances.
The store is designed as a one-stop space that goes beyond conventional appliance retail, offering newlyweds everything from hands-on product experiences tailored to their lifestyle to interior consulting, purchasing and after-sales service under one roof.
Customers can browse showrooms styled to resemble actual newlywed homes, getting a clear sense of how products can be arranged and configured for a given space. Options range from an 18-square-meter "Start Package" built around essential appliances to a 38-square-meter "Standard Package" that adds everyday convenience appliances, and a 50-square-meter "Premium Package" selected with both performance and design in mind — allowing customers to choose based on the size of their home and their lifestyle.
In a dedicated consultation lounge, specialist wedding consultants assess each customer's lifestyle in full and recommend a customized appliance package. For customers in rental housing, the consultants suggest an "interior fit" approach that minimizes damage to walls and structural elements while blending furniture and appliances seamlessly, paired with tailored Samsung AI home appliances.
To mark the reopening, Samsung Electronics is running a promotional campaign from Monday through Sept. 30. Wedding and move-in customers who book a consultation and submit a visit review during the period will receive a wine glass, on a first-come, first-served basis limited to 100 people.
Customers who purchase Samsung Electronics appliances together with products from furniture partners Livart, Casamia or Hanssem will receive additional benefits for one month.
Samsung Electronics said the Cheongdam renovation is the first step in a plan to roll out specialized wedding-appliance stores nationwide on a phased basis.
