Police have launched an investigation after a man in his 20s who worked at an apartment management office was found dead in a machine room in Incheon, in what is believed to have been an electrocution.

According to Yonhap and other outlets, a report came in at around 10:37 a.m. Sunday that a man in his 20s, identified only as A, was not breathing in a below-ground machine room at an apartment complex in Okryeon-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. The man was an employee of the building's management office.

Firefighters who responded to the call found him already dead upon arrival.

Police and fire officials believe A was electrocuted while showering in a shower room inside the machine room and are investigating the exact circumstances.
