Actor Baek Jin-hee has opened up about the distress caused by losses on her stock investments.

A video titled "Jini's day gone wild on an emotional roller coaster after stocks tank — 'Please just let me break even'" was posted Friday on her YouTube channel "Jini Is Back."

In the video, Baek said she has been losing sleep over her stock portfolio. "I haven't been sleeping well. I think a lot of people are in the same boat. It's hot, but just thinking about my stock balance keeps me awake," she said. "It feels like I don't fall asleep until after sunrise."

She then added, "I keep thinking, 'I should have sold back then. What was I holding out for?' I waited to squeeze out a little more, and now it looks like I won't even get my money back."

"I blame myself every night," she said, and went on to say her spending habits had changed since she began investing. "Even when I think about buying a coffee outside, I tell myself, 'Now is not the time,'" Baek said.

She joked that things had gotten so bad she "might have to collect rainwater to shower," and said she was hoping her portfolio would recover.
