Ipark Hyundai Development plans to build 683 mid- to large-sized apartment units on the slopes of Wangeuisan in Jorye-dong, Suncheon, with pre-sales set to launch before the end of the year.

The company won the contract — worth 245 billion won ($175 million) — from Yeongnim Development and will develop the site at 60-16 Jorye-dong, the former KGM driving school lot, into an 11-building complex with four below-ground floors and 22 above-ground floors. Construction is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2029.

The 683 units will be divided into three sizes: 491 units with an exclusive use area of 84 square meters, 144 units at 116 square meters, and 48 units at 143 square meters. The site offers strong medical infrastructure, with St. Carollo Hospital and Hyundai Women's and Children's Hospital nearby, and easy access to Yeosu and Gwangyang via the Dong-Suncheon interchange for commuters.

Ipark Hyundai Development said it intends to make the complex a landmark development in the highly sought-after Wangji district of Jorye-dong, featuring a predominantly south-facing layout, landscaping and community facilities.
