Key issues, development vision shared for Yeoncheon-eup
Yeoncheon-gun held a communication forum Tuesday at the Yeoncheon-eup administrative welfare center, bringing together county chief Kim Deok-hyeon, township staff and local organization leaders to share views on key community issues and the direction of regional development.
Kim first met with township employees to hear about difficulties and suggestions they had encountered in carrying out their duties, using the session to strengthen communication and cohesion within the organization.
He then convened a separate forum with local organization leaders to exchange opinions on major issues facing Yeoncheon-eup and the county's development priorities. Participants agreed to keep sharing diverse voices from the community and to work together on improving residents' quality of life and advancing regional growth.
"For the region to develop, the role of staff and community organizations — those who communicate most closely with residents on the ground — is vital," Kim said. "We will continue to communicate and cooperate so that the opinions shared Tuesday are actively reflected in county administration, and so we can bring about changes that residents can feel and deliver better administrative services."
