Okson, a divorcee cast member on Season 16 of the reality dating show "Naneun Solo" (I Am Solo), has separated from her second husband just four months after remarrying.
Okson announced the split Thursday on her social media, writing that incompatibilities had emerged over time and that the two had tried to work through their differences through conversation, but ultimately decided to go their separate ways after much deliberation.
"It did not end because of one person's fault, nor did it end with resentment or bad feelings toward each other," she wrote. "I am grateful for the time we shared and for the care we showed each other, and I sincerely wish us both greater happiness in our own lives. We have decided to part on good terms."
"I feel cautious and heavy-hearted to be sharing this kind of news again so soon," Okson added, "but this is a decision we both reached after talking it through fully, and we have chosen to respect each other's choices and the lives ahead of us."
She also revealed that her parents had urged her to slow down, telling her not to rush and to think more carefully given what she had been through before. "Because I had already caused my parents worry and pain over what happened previously, I could not take their words lightly," she wrote, adding that she had also withdrawn the marriage registration at the time.
Okson appeared on Season 16 of "Naneun Solo," a divorcee edition that aired in 2023 on ENA and SBS Plus. She had previously disclosed that she married her first husband — a man she met at a social gathering and saw only three times before filing for marriage — roughly two months after they began seeing each other, only to divorce about 45 days after the wedding.
In April, she announced that she had registered her marriage with a boyfriend known to be wealthy, writing at the time, "From now on, we will live taking deeper responsibility for each other's lives."
