LG Electronics announced Wednesday that it has mobilized support for flood victims in South Gyeongsang Province following heavy rainfall.

Since Tuesday, the company has operated a special disaster-response service hub in Gohyeon-dong, Geoje, offering free inspections and repairs of flood-damaged home appliances. Service managers deployed to the site are checking damaged products regardless of brand or manufacturer.

Alongside this, LG Electronics is running a door-to-door service in Geoje and Tongyeong, dispatching technicians directly to flood-affected households. Specially equipped disaster-response vehicles have also been deployed to support cleaning, repairs and parts replacement.

Customers whose appliances were damaged in the heavy rainfall can also receive the same services by contacting LG Electronics' customer center or visiting a service center.

The company said it plans to expand the service area if the damage spreads further.

Each summer, LG Electronics provides free inspection and repair services for customers affected by natural disasters such as heavy rainfall and typhoons, running support operations nationwide.
