The Seonnam-myeon Sports Association in Seongju-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, held an emergency board meeting and general assembly Friday at the Seonnam-myeon Administrative Welfare Center, with about 100 executives and board members in attendance, including association president Lee Chung-hwan.

The meeting was convened to strengthen organizational cohesion and review preparations ahead of the 53rd Seongju County Sports Festival.

Participants held in-depth discussions on agenda items related to the upcoming event, including the nomination and review of new officers, membership fee fundraising, the scope of expenditures, and athlete selection and training plans by sport.

In his opening remarks, Lee urged all those involved to lend their full support. "Seonnam-myeon is a true powerhouse that has claimed first and runner-up finishes at past competitions," he said. "I ask for the active cooperation and support of everyone involved to make this a successful event."
