Twice member Chaeyoung and singer-producer Zion.T have denied rumors that they broke up.

The agencies representing both artists issued official statements Friday, calling reports of a breakup "clearly groundless."

"After confirming directly with the artists, we can say the two still have warm feelings for each other and are continuing their relationship," the agencies said.

Earlier Friday, a media outlet reported that the couple had grown apart due to busy schedules and recently ended their relationship.

Both sides said they would "continuously monitor" the situation to prevent damage to the artists' reputations from "baseless speculative reporting, the spread of false information, or malicious posts." They added that they would "take strong legal action against sensational reporting or the distribution of unverified claims."

The couple went public with their relationship in April 2024, at which point they revealed they had been dating for six months. Their 10-year age gap — Chaeyoung was born in 1999 and Zion.T in 1989 — drew considerable attention at the time.

The agencies closed their statement by asking fans to support Chaeyoung as she embarks on a new chapter with the launch of her independent label "Lil Fantasy," and to continue showing support for Zion.T's wide-ranging musical activities.
