Lotte Himart announced Friday it will exclusively carry the Motorola moto g57 POWER smartphone, priced in the 390,000 won ($276) range, across its nationwide online and offline channels.

The retailer will sell the model in two colors — "Pantone Fluidity" and "Pantone Regatta" — at 399,000 won, roughly 30 percent cheaper than comparable products with similar specifications. Customers who purchase the device through the end of next month will also receive an additional 10,000 won in L.POINT rewards, sweetening the deal further.

To mark the launch, Lotte Himart is offering benefits through its own mobile service plan, the Hi-mart Plan. Available at Lotte Himart's brick-and-mortar stores — where staff handle consultation, application, activation and setup — the plan gives unlocked-phone buyers access to a 30GB data plan for 7,900 won per month in the first year, rising to 25,900 won per month upon renewal after 12 months.

Even after the base data allowance runs out, users receive a quality-of-service speed of 1 Mbps through a data safety option, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity. Tethering is also supported. Customers who trade in their existing handset at the time of purchase can receive cash compensation through the retailer's "used phone cash rebate" service.

Meanwhile, Lotte Himart has been expanding its lineup of global brands — including US-based Motorola and British brand Nothing — to broaden customers' choices when buying a mobile phone. The company plans to continue offering a wide range of options, from the latest premium smartphones to mid- and low-range handsets.

"As 'phonflation' has persisted recently, we wanted to offer customers who feel the financial strain of buying a new phone a great deal on the Motorola moto g57 POWER," said Kim Bo-gyeong, head of Lotte Himart's merchandise division. "We encourage customers to visit their nearest Lotte Himart store, try the product in person and make a purchase at a reasonable price."
